Abstract

The article elaborates on the theme of the Russian English literary, historical, cultural links in the XIX century. Analysis of perception of the provincial England's every day life and morals made by the famous Russian translator D. E. Min who in the second half of 1850ies performed interpretation of separate fragments of the poem by G. Crabbe "The Parish Register" is presented

В статье развивается тема русско-английских литературных и историко-культурных связей XIX в. Приводится анализ восприятия быта и нравов провинциальной Англии известным русским переводчиком Д. Е. Мином, осуществившим во вто.ой половине 1850-х гг. интерпретацию отдельных фрагментов поэмы Дж. Крабба «Приходские списки».
