Abstract

Conducted a retrospective analysis of the development of criminology and forensics, and concluded that the foundations were formed on the roots of criminology has long been originated examination, and their further development occurred in parallel. At the present stage of the interaction of these two trends can not be carried out without the operationalsearch activity. The differences in the approaches of these activities are illustrated with examples of using the method of the experiment.
