Abstract

The authors' conception of the application of bite plates, orthodontic removable lamellar units of mechanical eff ect, was based on the experience of treatment of 273 patients at the age from 6 to 15 with malocclusions that were specifi ed by narrowed and shortened dental arches. Th e construction of bite plates was chosen according to anatomical peculiarities of dentition.
