Abstract

The review literature regarding endovascular interventions for rectal cancer treatment is presented. The results of treatment of loco-regional rectal carcinoma by with the help of endovascular selective lipiodol oil chemoembolization of the rectal arteries, and also the data concern ing features of blood supply of rectum, received by selective angiography are presented. The results confirm expediency of endovascular methods in treatment of rectal cancer considering specific features of blood supply of rectum.
