Abstract

A newly developed compressive device, where the drive is made of

NiTi alloy, is used for colon anastomosis providing smooth development of dosed out compression tissue effort, not resulting in stress overloads. The more physiologically potent formation of intestinal anastomosis is achieved, and operation time is reduced. This device enables to standardize technical methods for colon anastomosis. The application of this compressive device results in tissue free scar formation with no further threat for stenosis recurrence.
