The following article makes an attempt to explain the notion mediative competence. The formation of a child's vital world depends on an adult's ability to organize the joint activity with him. It is especially important in the connection with the fact that the peculiarities of the vital space determine the characteristic of the way of living and understanding of the person's inner world. Here we deal with the question not only about the presence of the mediator between a child and culture, but also about his abilities of creating the channel for a child's vital world formation.

В данной статье делается попытка дать обоснование понятию «медиативная компетенция». Становление жизненного мира ребенка зависит от способности взрослого организовать совместную деятельность с ним. Это особенно важно в связи с тем, что особенности жизненного пространства определяют характерный облик образа жизни и образа мира человека. В связи с чем встает вопрос не только о наличие медиатора (посредника) между ребенком и культурой, но и о его возможностях в создании канала для становления жизненного мира ребенка.
