Abstract

The article presents the results of sociological research of the factors of professionalization of civil servants in three regions of the Central Federal District Orel, Bryansk and Lipetsk regions. It’s empirically justified that the set of factors of self-realization of civil servants can be reduced to two main (latent) factors. The first of them is the factor of possibilities of selfrealization, the second factor that reflects the uncertainty of the respondents in response to the question about their opportunities for self-realization. Cumulatively, these two factors explain about 90% of the total variance, which speaks in favor of two-factor representations of the four-dimensional space of the original variables.
