It’s a review of a new book by G. E. Hein «Progressive Museum Practice: John Dewey and Democracy». The author analyzes the main points of this study. The focus is on the political dimension of the educational theory by Dewey and its role for the development of democracy. The review observed interconnection between this concept and the European experience in museum education (Germany, Soviet Russia).
