Abstract

Article presents comparison of the Washington Accord and the EUR-ACE standards requirements to the graduates of first and second cycle engineering programmes correspondently. It is recommended to take into account these requirements in programme design for successful accreditation by international and Russian professional organizations. Characteristics of complex and innovation engineering activity are described. Comparison of depth and width of bachelor and master programmes is illustrated.
