Abstract

Basic theoretical approaches to problems of virtual reality by Russian and foreign researchers are considered. Highs and lows of different theories are analyzed. Main features and characteristics of virtual reality are specially noted. In the conclusion the author's understanding of «virtual reality», based on socio-philosophical comprehension of these phenomena is formulated.
