The article discusses specific features of development of the modern forms of the state structure in a number of the unitary states. These features are determined by the federalization, which, in turn, is determined by the principles of federalism and political and legal identification and status of a federation constituent entity, thus, the foundation of the regionalization process is built.

В статье раскрываются особенности формирования современных форм государственного устройства в ряде унитарных государств. Основу этих особенностей определяет федерализация, которая в свою очередь исходит из принципов федерализма и политико-правового определения и статуса субъекта федерации, тем самым создавая основу для процесса регионализации.
