Abstract

We investigated 44 patients (44 eyes) with confirmed diagnosis of keratoconus stage III. We found that the use of a femtosecond laser for DALK provides in-depth air separation and enhances the frequency of formation of a «Big bubble» air bubble, thus reducing the risk of conversion to a penetrating procedure.
