Abstract

The method of analytical calculation of a coupling coefficient of a cylindrical dielectric resonator coupled with an edge microstrip line in case of their orthogonal mutual orientation is stated. The comparison between three methods of calculation the value of edge microstrip line magnetic field strength is made: finite difference method, conformal map method and finite element method. The technique of calculation the value of a coupling coefficient of resonator coupled with transmission line by given experimental values of system transmission coefficient is stated. The dependence of a coupling coefficient versus the distance between a resonator and a line is studied. The comparison between theoretical and experimental data is provided.
