Abstract

The rate of production and consumption of products from synthetic rubbers are rapidly increasing, which leads to the accumulation of considerable amounts of waste synthetic rubber to be recycled (OSKU), level of processing, however, remains low. Performed scientific basis for the utilization OSKU as an insulating layer in the form of an impervious screen to the base of the landfill waste. The results of experimental studies have shown environmental safety insulation materials recycled waste synthetic rubbers. Meanwhile, we studied the types of membrane screens, currently used in the design of solid waste landfills. Comparative tests of latex and foam insulation on the main criteria for assessing the quality of waterproofing materials.
