Abstract

Recently there is an evolution of historical perception of the legal nature of extremism in normative legal acts that signifi cantly infl uences defi nition of extremism, as one of the most dangerous global threats of the present. The description of concept of extremism in modern Russian and international legal sources was undergone by important changes. Comparison of national defi nition and the international approaches accepted in European and world legal practicians, seriously infl uences understanding of extremism.
