Abstract

The problem of colour perception with reference to the speech producing in the frames of harmonized communication are viewed in the article. Different ways of colour and light nomination as the basic component of ethnic and culture of the point of view of cultural perception by foreign linguoculture are being analyzed, functional peculiarities, conceptual significancy and the role in the process of harmonization in multicultural discussion and the acceptance of foreign cultural understanding are stated. Semantic study of colour perception is based on literary tradition and mental potential of conceptual colour perception in English and Russian linguocultures. The opposition “light darkness” from the point of view of tolerant relation to “one’s own the others” both in horizontal context of the literary work and vertical context of cultural and historic development of the particular linguistic community are considered. Quantitative and semantic limit of the colour system in compared linguocultures are determined by the fixing character reality and harmonic communication understanding.
