Abstract

The article notes that linguistic hermeneutics doesn’t only have some common features with the philosophy of language, general linguistics, but also some specifically distinctive elements. The idea that the philosophy of language through linguistic hermeneutics dialectically deals with general linguistics and, therefore, occupies an intermediate position between these fields of knowledge is justified. The problem of a new science formation — linguistic hermeneutics and its object-subject area of the research is defined. The most important component of linguistic hermeneutics is a text-based communication, requiring constant interpretation. Text-based communication isn’t possible without interpretation. A step characteristic of a linguistic-hermeneutic technology of a text-based communication is given, the content of the main structural elements is analyzed, relations, which disregarding inevitably leads to linguistic and hermeneutic difficulties in understanding of a text, are determined.
