The article contains definitions of a complex of concepts connected with the term electronic medical records (EMR) at all levels (from the doctor-patient interaction to the integrative federal use). The problems preventing the widespread of electronic medical records in health care practice, discussed, as well as the basic principles of overcoming the problems. The analyzes of the 5-year experience of the use of the National Standard «Electronic medical history. General Terms» (GOST R 52636-2006) discussed. In the addendum the draft of new revision of the Standard under name «Electronic medical card» presented, as well as drafts of two new national standards and two regulations governing maintenance of electronic medical records.

В статье даются определения комплексу понятий, связанных с термином «Электронная медицинская карта» (от врача и пациента до федерального уровня), обсуждаются основные проблемы, мешающие широкому внедрению электронной медицинской карты в практику здравоохранения, а также основные способы преодоления проблем. Также анализируется 5-летний опыт применения национального стандарта ГОСТ Р 52636-2006 «Электронная история болезни. Общие положения», обсуждается проект его пересмотра, а также проекты еще двух национальных стандартов и двух положений, регламентирующих ведение электронных медицинских карт.
