Abstract

The article is devoted to the problems of building the parallel space switching systems. The shortcomings of crossbar switches are being analyzed as well as the possibilities of realization of parallel switching in ladder circuits. There is also a description of the structure of parallel cross switch which is the basic one in building the ladder circuits. The structure of the switching elements of the parallel space switching systems is described as well. The parallel space switching systems based on such switch cabins will allow to reduce the connection time and losses caused by the congestion of the general control unit.
