Abstract

The article discusses spam as a variety of e-mail genre and defines it as an anonymous mass correspondence delivery to addressees who don't want to get it. Spam doesn't presuppose an addressee's verbal reaction having an advertising of some goods or services, checking the address validity, delivering viruses, etc. as its aim. Spam is characterized by a high degree of dynamism and creativity and is negatively marked.
