Циркуляры Главного тюремного управления МВД как источник по истории пенитенциарной системы России в период пореформенной модернизации (1879-1885)

Abstract

В статье проведен анализ циркуляров Главного тюремного управления МВД, изданных в 1879-1885 гг. Предложена их классификация. Сделан вывод о высокой ценности, которую представляют циркуляры Главного тюремного управления в качестве исторического источника по развитию пенитенциарной системы пореформенной России.

The General Prison Administration circulars issued in 1879-1885 are analyzed in the article. Circular classification is presented. The conclusion about appreciated value of the General Prison Administration circulars as a historical source on the penal system development in post-reform Russia is made.
