Abstract

Information asymmetry in respect to certain qualitative parameters of educational products is regarded as a factor of professional competitiveness of regional university graduates. It is shown that the conditions of the two interdependent markets of education and labour are uncoordinated. When choosing a future career the entrants rather choose a limited rational choice of socially prestigious specialties than follow the information on the dynamics of labour market conditions.
