Abstract

The article deals with the categories of “adaptive capacity” and “competitive ability”. The author suggests an original definition of the competitive ability. It is stated, that at present the key to successful operation in the market and effective development of domestic enterprises is a high level of adaptability, competitiveness and availability of competitive advantages. The paper presents a model that reflects the close dialectical unity of basing factors and factors of external competitive environment by case of the oil and gas producing company.
