Abstract

For optimization of providing persons, having rights for state social support, with essential drugs, within the development program of territorial model for determination of perspective needs, ATC/DDD method for calculation of drug intake is presented on the example of certain categories of citizens with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The paper presents the results of expert evaluation of the range of drugs for ambulatory care of patients with the specified diagnosis, and also the results of frequency analysis of drug prescription in certain categories of citizens having different forms of state social support in the framework of the investigated nosology. As a result, ATC / DDD model is established, and on it basis, the algorithm is made for determination of long-term needs in the territorial area, on account of the selected drugs and frequency of prescription of the drugs which are used in provision program with essential drugs for persons with COPD
