Английская тема на страницах «Тамбовских губернских ведомостей». 1843–1887

Abstract

The analysis of publications about England, Englishmen and English culture in an official publication of the Tambov province is carried out, the main aspects of this subject are designated, conditions and stages of its interpretation. A valid conclusion about continuous presence of an English subject at reader's consciousness of educated Tambov public of the 19 th century is made.

Проведен анализ публикаций об Англии, англичанах и английской культуре в официальном печатном органе Тамбовской губернии, обозначены основные аспекты этой темы, определены условия и этапы ее интерпретации на протяжении пяти десятилетий. Обоснован вывод о постоянном присутствии английской темы в читательском сознании образованной тамбовской публики XIX в.
