Abstract

Pharmacotherapeutic efficiency of the complex plant remedy composed on the base of the formulae of Tibetan medicine was studied on rats. Induced dyslipoproteidemia is followed by the elevation of the triacylglycerides (TG) content in the blood, low density lipoproteids (LDL) cholesterol, atherogenic index and by the decrease of high density lipoproteids (HDL) cholesterol,as well as by the increase of malonic dialdegide (MDA) concentration and dien conjugates (DC) and by the decrease of catalase activity. The administration of the plant remedy results in the 46% decrease of the TG content, 47% decrease of LDL cholesterol, 2,1 times decrease of atherogenic index, 23% increase of HDL cholesterol. Besides, the remedy inhibit the free radicals oxidation of lipids decrease the level of MDA on 40% and DC on 28%, increases the activity of antioxidative enzyme catalase on 52%.
