Abstract

The article presents a unique burial construction of a dromos type of the IV century B.C. from the Southern Trans-Ural (South-East of Bashkiria). This type of burials is quite a rare case in nomads’ burials of the early Iron Age. Scientists have traditionally treated the burial construction as a sign of high social status of people buried in it. Besides, appearance of burials of this type is connected with migrations of nomads from southern and south-eastern territories. The items of architectural construction of the mound and burial chamber are studied, also there are given analogues with nomad antiquity of the early Iron Age.
