In the article culture elements from a position of a dichotomy of the western and east types are considered. On the example of the analysis of all elements and manifestations of culture of medieval European society the conclusion that division into the western and east types of culture has conditional character is drawn.

В статье рассматриваются элементы культуры с позиции дихотомии западного и восточного типов. На примере анализа всех элементов и проявлений культуры средневекового европейского общества делается вывод о том, что деление на западный и восточный типы культуры имеет условный характер
