Abstract

In the article perception, language and speech interpretation of observability, is considered as one of the key characteristics of works of the Symbolist poets. Perceptive image verbalizes author’s understanding of the structure of the world and the universe, at the same time the reception is the typical technique of symbolist poetics. The research was performed in the line as the semantic and communicative approaches to the study of the text area using the methodology of linguistic and comparative analysis of poetic texts. The materials for the study were poems O. Brezina and K. Balmont. The main objective of linguistic analysis is to determine author´s style status of linguistic resources with perceptive semantics (lexical, syntactic and stylistic). Comparative analysis of the original and translated text confirms the importance of perceptual component in the semantic organization of the work of art. Particular attention is given to the synesthetic world phrases and perceptual metaphors. The study revealed the structural and semantic transformation of perceptual images caused by esthetic and linguistic factors.
