Abstract

The description of enzymes involved in sexual steroid hormone biosyntheses (progesterone and estrogens) from cholesterol is given in the review. The emphasis is made on the steroidogenesis process in fetoplacental complex.

В обзоре представлено описание ферментов, участвующих в биосинтезе половых стероидных гормонов (прогестерона и эстрогенов) из холестерина. Акцент сделан на процессе стероидогенеза в фетоплацентарном комплексе.
