Abstract

The study of central hemodynamics and arterial pressure in healthy individuals or patients with hypertensive disease and hypothyroidism with arterial hypertension was conducted. Patients with hypertensive disease and hypothyroidism with arterial hypertension in comparison with healthy individuals have a significant increase in hardness values of the arterial system and t total peripheral vascular resistance. A comparative analysis of findings between patients with hypertensive disease and hypothyroidism with arterial hypertension was conducted. It was found that patients with hypothyroidism and arterial hypertension had average values of blood pressure and total peripheral vascular resistance higher than patients with hypertensive disease. Index of cardiac output and arterial stiffness of the groups of patients with hypertensive disease and hypothyroidism with arterial hypertension did not differ significantly. The distribution of patients by hemodynamic types differed significantly between patients with hypertensive disease and hypothyroidism with arterial hypertension.
