Abstract

The article observes the artistic space of A. Huxley’s novel “Crome Yellow”, organized by the old estate, where (or close by) the action of the novel occurs. The estate Crome is treated in the article in the context of the main lines of the plot and the main senses of the novel as the complicated unity at the same time as the peculiar background of the polylogue of senses, organizing the plot of the novel, as the “idyllic space”, opposed to the real world, and, on the contrary, as the reduced and peculiarly transformed model of the real world.
