Abstract

Computer-based scanning of occlusion contacts was applied as part of denture construction process and as a means of final correction of various designs dentures in 80 patients aged 19-45 years, as well as in the control group comprising 20 students aged 1925 years with orthognathic occlusion. As a result of the studies, computer-based scanning of occlusion contacts has shown to allow opportunities for occlusion surfaces normalazation of expensive dentures at the correction stage, objectification of the obtained treatment results data-base and an advancement of the functional value.
