Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of authorship of "The Secret History of Mongols" («Mongolyn Nuutc Tovchoo»), a literature monument of the first third of XIII century. The representations of collective folklore origin or foreign authorship are denied in the article. It is proved that the monument was a fruit of individual authorship someone from the environment of Chingiskhan. Names of possible authors are called. Cases of the use of personal pronouns bid / manaj we / ours are shown in the author's narration. It is offered to use them in the subsequent for more profound contextual and historical-biographic analysis of the problem.
