Abstract

The objective of research is the assessment of possibility of social and psychological training in psychological adaptation of migrants. 65 migrants, 10-12 persons per group, participated in psychological training. The cycle of occupations consisted of four meetings for three hours each. Level of social and psychological stress according to Holmes’s and Ray’s scale at 97% at persons under investigation exceeded 300 points. The situations causing psychic tension are revealed and discussed during training work. The real positive changes in life of migrants were revealed at assessment of efficiency of psychological training. Decrease in sharpness of problems with mutual support of each other was observed. As a result of trainings some participants changed work they didn’t like, many people met friends as they didn’t have any in Russia before training, many persons attached priorities in their life (problems which at arrival seemed to them global and irresolvable passed turned out to be not so serious).
