The article analyses the personnel changes which occurred in censorship bodies in the 1950s early 1960s on the data of Leningrad, Karelia and Murmansk region. It demonstrates the dynamics of changes in the staff member lists of censorship bodies, examines the cultural and educational level of censors, investigates the system of training and professional development of the Glavlit employeers.

В статье на материалах Ленинграда, Карелии и Мурманской области анализируются кадровые изменения, произошедшие в органах цензуры в 1950-е начале 1960-х гг. Показывается динамика изменения в штатном расписании органов цензуры, рассматривается культурно-образовательный уровень цензоров, исследуется механизм системы подготовки и повышения квалификации работников Главлита.
