Повествовательная стратегия небылицы в романах Марка Твена

Abstract

Статья посвящена исследованию связей романного творчества Марка Твена с фольклорной национальной традицией, а именно с юмором фронтира. Непосредственным объектом анализа стали всемирно известные произведения М. Твена “Приключения Тома Сойера” и “Приключения Гекльберри Финна”. Установлено, что устный жанр байки, небылицы, повлиявший на новеллистику писателя, играет особую роль и в повествовательной структуре его романов.The article is devoted to the connections between Mark Twain’s fiction and American national folklore tradition, especially the humor of frontier. The folklore genre of tall tale or yarn had a great influence on Mark Twain’s short stories, and an important impact on the narrative strategy of his novels. The authors of the article analyze “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” and “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” from this perspective.
