Abstract

The paper deals with the transformation of views on crisis management from its initial narrow interpretation, as arbitration control of bankruptcy procedures, to a more general approach to crisis management at all levels of economic development. It is concluded that preventive and extrajudicial crisis management is more efficient and effective than judicial proceedings that result in liquidation of the organization.
