Abstract

The article examines psychological literature for basic approaches to the study of emotional burnout and coping behavior. It provides the results of an empirical study of coping strategies as a factor to overcome the emotional burnout among law enforcement officials. It is shown that constructive coping strategies contribute to overcoming the emotional burnout, whereas passive coping strategies aggravate its formation.
