Abstract

Peculiarities of mastering educational material by young schoolchildren with delay in psychological development were defined on the base of etiology of the delay and different approaches to this category of junior pupils. Three groups of children were singled out according to the level of formation of learning skills. The paper shows possible ways of using kinetic therapy in teaching these children reading.Necessity of combination of individual speech therapist work with close interaction with primary teacher’s activity in planning the contents of classes of teaching reading and writing to this category of children is proved.
