Легенда о Короле Змей как сюжетообразующее начало в романе Б. Стокера «Ущелье змеи»

Abstract

The article discusses the colonial problems in B. Stoker’s «Snake’s pass». The legend about the King of Snakes is represented as the plotbeginning. The images of the Snake and St. Patrick are interpreted as the protagonists of the legend.

В статье рассматривается колониальная проблематика в романе Б.Стокера «Ущелье змеи». Сюжетообразующим началом романа является легенда о Короле Змей. Интерпретируются обра< зы Змея и Святого Патрика – главных действующих лиц легенды.
