In the given article the problems of the reconstruction of cosmogonic and theogonic views of archaic cultures on the basis of the material of Slavic, Baltic, German, Indo-Iranian languages is considered. Numerical words *duo *ei of Indo-Europeans played an exclusive role in the description and sacralization of social space of a person.

В статье рассматриваются проблемы реконструкции космогонических и теогонических представлений архаичных культур на материале славянских, балтийских, германских, индоиранских языков. Числовые слова *duo-, *eiиндоевропейцев играли исключительную роль в описании и сакрализации социального пространства человека.
