Abstract

The article represents the results of research analyzing the features of Human Resource Management in two groups of Knowledge-Intensive Companies: the first one working in the field of Information Technology (IT) and the second in the field of Advertising and PR. The research sample consisted of 100 companies located in the different big cities of the Russian Federation. The European quality standard "Investors in People" is chosen as methodological basis of the research. The statistically authentic level of research proves that the differences between the Human Resource Practices depend on the differences in Human Related Strategies. And as a result, the Knowledge-Intensive Companies of the first group (IT) more often realize High Commitment Strategies in Human Resource Management and the Knowledge-Intensive Companies of the second group (Advertising and PR) prefer High Commitment Strategies.
