Abstract

The article provides the general classification of transport-logistics systems. The theoretical analysis of the main approaches to organisation of transport-logistics systems is carried out in accordance with the author’s classification. The author identifies the typical characteristics of transport-logistics systems, in particular, their diversity and availability of dominating type of transport that influence their functioning. The author formulates a number of conclusions on possibility of applying organisation approaches to various transport-logistics systems and discusses the role of the state in these systems.
