Abstract

The article presents the results of the research of phraseological units of the Russian language in accordance with the author's typology of phraseological meaning in terms of the category of eurosemanticity. Special attention is given to the analysis of substantive phraseological units with a eurosemic type of meaning. The semantic classification includes several levels of differentiation. The first level distinguishes groups with different denotation, the second level groups the units on the basis of a set of different syncretic features, making a significative macro-component of meaning in phraseologisms belonging to different semantic-grammatical classes.
