Abstract

In order to determine the most common interstitial lung diseases in children and to define their radiographic features the results of the survey of 142 patients suffering from various diseases of the respiratory system being observed and/or treated in pulmonary departments of Republican Children’s Clinical hospital of Ufa have been analyzed. The study group included 48 children with exogenous allergic alveolitis, idiopathic fibrosing alveolitis and obliterans bronchiolitis. The control group included 94 children treated for pneumonia, acute bronchiolitis, chronic or recurrent bronchitis. It was found that the most common interstitial lung disease in children is obliterans bronchiolitis. The features of radiation peculiarities of these patients are foci of consolidation, peribronchial seals, centrilobular emphysema and V-shaped structure of the bronchioles.
