
The author describes the necessity to use basic theoretical concepts of strategic management by elaboration of a bank strategy, that is: competitive strategy introduced by M. Potter, resource concept and concept of dynamic capabilities. Components of bank strategy are revealed: choice of a competitive position; revelation of competitive advantages of a bank; setting of a business concept and strategies of interaction with customers.
