The exchange rates theories and concepts evolution is searched in the article, the existing theoretical approaches to the problem of the exchange rate formation and regulation are systematized and generalized. The implementation areas of the exchange rates theories are defined and the terms of their efficiency are assessed
В статье исследована эволюция теорий и концепций валютных курсов, систематизированы и обобщены существующие теоретические подходы к проблеме формирования и регулирования обменного курса. Определены сферы применения теорий валютных курсов и оценены условия их действенности.
