Abstract

Another dynastic conflict resulted in coming of tsarevich Murad Geray to Russia in the mid 80s of 16th century. Immediately, Moscow involved him into the political game in the North Caucasus and Black Sea region. The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth appeared to be one of the parties.
