The article represents a research, in which chronotops in the autobiographies of the two writers-contemporaries are compared. The article includes the observations about the time and space visions of the writers, the indication on typological «similarity» in the artistic consciousness of the two novelists. The analysis is especially important when the writers united by the same historical epoch and similar in their ethic and philosophical as well as social and moral convictions are collated.
